Eon Guitar Quartet, was founded in 1999, is constituted by Giovanni Maselli, Rita Casagrande, Roberto Tascini e Mario Barbuti.
All the components are graduated with the maximum of the votes in different Italian conservatories and they come from different musical experiences, from the classic music tout-court to the electronic music passing through the Jazz and the Blues.
Eon Guitar Quartet is actually considered one of the best and the most active chamber ensemble in the international landscape of guitars and different composers have devoted some important pages to the quartet.
Eon Guitar Quartet performed in many countries: Auditorio Nacional Blas Galindo Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Mexico City, Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Morelia, Festival Internacional de guitarra de Zacatecas (Mexico), Internacional Guitar Festival Turku (Finland), Quito Guitar Festival (Ecuador),Kaluga Internacional guitar festival (Russia), Katharinenkapelle Neunkirchen am Brand (Germany) and some others Festivals of Guitar and concert halls in Italy (Bologna, Campobasso, Nuoro, Grosseto, Naples, Rome, Trento etc) they always received very positive comments and critiques.
From 2008 is available the first official recording of the quartet.
